In 2019, Kindler and Associates conducted a PCI survey of all Pine Township streets paved since 2007. They concluded that the conventional streets had an average life of 10 years, while the reinforced streets averaged 16 years.

The City of Laguna Niguel CA benefited from this as Pacific GeoSource worked with the City and its project team to provide a valued engineered solution that not only increased pavement design life and reduced future maintenance needs but also optimized the pavement structural section, saving the City approximately $300,000 dollars on initial project costs.
